Delete Your minibook Account

This page explains how to delete your minibook account and what happens to your data when you do. minibook is developed by Mateo Santic.

How to delete your account

The fastest way is directly in the app:

1. Open the minibook app and make sure you are signed in.
2. Go to the Settings screen.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm when prompted.

Your account and data are deleted immediately. No further action is needed, and you do not need to contact us.

If you have already uninstalled the app

You do not need to reinstall it. Email mateo.santicc@gmail.com from the email address associated with your minibook account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days, and confirm by email once it is done.

What is deleted

All of the following is permanently erased from our database as soon as the deletion runs. There is no retention period and no backup copy is kept:

• Account information — your email address and password credentials.
• Reading activity — books read, reading progress, saved books, saved insights, and reading session history.
• Preferences — chosen categories, reading goals, and reader display settings.
• Usage counters — daily Bits usage and any other per-account activity records.

What is kept, and for how long

Records of any purchase you made are retained by the app store you purchased through (Google Play or Apple) and by our purchase provider, RevenueCat, as part of their transaction records. These are kept for financial, tax, and accounting purposes as required by law, and are outside our control — deleting your minibook account does not remove them.

These records contain the transaction itself, not your reading activity or personal profile. minibook never stores payment card details at any point.

To request deletion of data held by those providers, contact them directly: RevenueCat, Google, or Apple.

Important things to know

• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your reading history and saved content cannot be recovered afterwards, even if you create a new account with the same email address.
• Deleting your account does not cancel or refund a purchase. Lifetime access is a one-time purchase tied to your Google Play or Apple account. Refunds are handled by the store, under its own refund policy.
• You can usually restore a previous purchase. If you create a new account later while signed in to the same Google Play or Apple account, tapping Restore Purchases in the app will normally re-apply your lifetime access.
